If you keep up with what’s going on in regard to conservation you would know that one of the next big challenges is the conservation of water. It has been stated that water is a resource that is quickly being depleted and we should be doing everything we can to conserve and use it wisely. One of the things people have started doing is using rain barrels but I could not bring myself to place those ugly barrels outside my beautiful house. Then I found these affordable collapsible rain barrels and now I feel good about what is outside my home and what my family is doing to conserve water.

While discussing water, if you have never heard of rain chains you really need to check them out. I love the pineapple rain chains that come off the house. They are beautiful as the water drops from pineapple to pineapple in an elegant parade of drips and streams. There is nothing more calming as watching and listening to the water weaving its way down the rain chain. It just takes the stress of the day away and is worth every penny spent on it.
