I’m one of those people who seem to constantly be losing my pens. But recently I got a very special pen as a gift that I’ve treasured. It was a personalized leather wrapped pen that had not only a lightweight feel but also had a very smooth flow of ink across the paper.

In the business world we take commonplace items like pens very lightly. But when signing a lucrative contract with a client you’ve worked to get for a long time, what makes a better impression than an expensive pen. Or at least an expensive looking pen.

That’s what was neat about that leather pen I’ve misplaced - it looked expensive yet I knew it did not break the budget of the person who gave it to me. If I don’t find it I suppose I could order a new one but I’d really rather find the gift. It has sentimental value to me.
