She’d cook her turkey in it or a big juicy roast surrounded by vegetables and potatoes. I can remember many a delicious supper that started in that great big pot. Owning a big roasting pot has become a bit of a tradition in our family. Every time one of us would move out and get our own place, my mom would buy us a Classic Oval Covered Roaster of our very own.

I love the roaster, not just because it’s sturdy and I use it constantly, but also because it brings back a lot of wonderful, sentimental memories when I cook in it.
